As well as Art in The Barn, we run art workshops throughout the year.

These are designed to help you develop your artistic skills, explore new ideas and processes, and, most importantly, have fun while creating and developing a range of techniques.  You can book on one of our pre-arranged workshops or email me to organise a workshop specifically for you, either to join with your friends and/or be open to others to book.

What to Expect
1. Relaxing Atmosphere: Our workshop space, in converted traditional farm buildings, is calming and inspiring.  It allows you to immerse yourself in the creative process without any distractions.

2. Time to Experiment: We encourage you to explore and experiment with different techniques and develop your own style. We will be there to guide you and provide valuable insights throughout the day.

3. Meet New People: On art courses with us, you will meet like-minded individuals who share your passion for creativity. It's a great opportunity to make new friends and exchange artistic ideas.

4. Bring a Friend:  Creating art together can be an even more enjoyable and bonding activity.  We encourage you to bring a friend along to share the experience.

5. Completed Art Pieces: We want you to leave our workshop with a sense of accomplishment. By the end of the day, you'll have completed art pieces that you'll be proud of.

6. Continuing Creativity at Home: Our aim is to empower you with the knowledge and skills needed to continue your creative journey at home. We'll provide tips and resources to support your artistic growth beyond the workshop.

Equipment and Extras:

We take care of providing all the essential equipment and materials you'll need for the workshop. However, if you have any specific preferences or additional tools you'd like to use, feel free to bring them along.

On some workshops there are extras, such as individual equipment, specialized tools or materials.  You'll have the option to purchase them when you book your workshop.

Regular Workshops:

We host workshops regularly throughout the year, covering various art forms, such as painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, and more. Keep an eye on our website or subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated on upcoming workshops and secure your spot in advance.

Thank you for considering Blooming Designs Art Workshop for your creative journey. We look forward to welcoming you and your friend for a day filled with artistic expression, relaxation, and joy!

Why organise an Art Workshop with Blooming Designs?

The Stables is perfect for smaller workshops

Whether you lead a very busy life or you have time on your hands, nurturing your creative side is essential to you wellbeing as well as being a lot of fun.  And what better way to do that than organise your very own private art workshop for two or more people.

You can also organise private art workshops for teenagers, which will give them a different out of school experience that will complement their education.  Particularly in their developing years, art enhances fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, problem solving skills, lateral thinking, complex analysis and critical thinking skills.

More than anything, organising an art workshop with a few of your friends, your partner, your family or your work colleagues will be a fun and enjoyable experience, from where you will develop new creative skills to take away and continue at home.
