If you have you have ever considered designing and creating something to use in your home or thought about making personalised gifts for your family and friends, this is the workshop for you.
Simply bring along your design ideas for images, patterns and shapes and learn how to translate these into a design, before cutting a stamp using Essdee Master Cut and then printing your design.
On this workshop, you will initially create paper and card based products, such as gift tags and gift wrap. You will then progress to printing onto tea towels, tote bags. Please bring along: an apron, A5/6 ideas/drawings/images that inspire you and a large newspaper in which to transport your work home.
This workshop is suitable for people with a range of creative experiences, wishing to explore printing stamps onto paper and fabric, for a maximum of 6 people.
Two tea towels or two tote bags, or one of each are included with the workshop. Further items may also be purchased on the day:
- Tea towels and small tote bags - £4.00 each
If you have any fabric samples in cotton or linen you may wish to bring these along to experiment further, the possibilities are endless... you can create lavender bags to table napkins . Just wash and iron everything in advance.
The workshop will run from 10 - 4pm and is £99, including tuition, materials and use of equipment. Refreshments will be served throughout the day - just bring your lunch.
