Transfer printing is a versatile and popular method to transfer designs or patterns onto synthetic fabrics.
The process involves the use of transfer dyes which are painted onto paper and then transferred, using either an iron or a heat press, onto synthetic fabrics.
On this workshop you will be learning how to transfer your designs onto fabric using this method. We will be experimenting with the transfer dyes on paper initially before transferring images onto fabric using stencils, leaves and plants creating exciting and unique patterns .
By the end of the day you will have a greater understanding of the process, The workshop provides a structured environment to grasp the entire process from start to finish, including surface preparation and design transfer,
