Drawing, Print and Collage - an introduction
Spending time on a creative task is both a pleasure and a joy. It allows us to stop and take time out of our busy lives. It calms and relaxes us and provides opportunities to refocus; creativity engages our imagination and stimulates us.
However, not everyone knows how to get a creative task underway and it can be difficult not knowing where to start or even what to create.
Join us for a creative boost; we will explain and demonstrate how to make lively marks on different papers, draw from observation and imagination and learn how to select and simplify images and designs. You will also draw with scissors and explore composition. Our inspiration will be flowers, plants and foliage displayed in a range of pots, vases and jugs in a light and playful way. The workshop will run from 10 - 4 pm, with places limited to 10, including tuition, materials and use of equipment, with refreshments served throughout the day; just bring your lunch.
