WORKSHOP 5 - Drawing Faces |
Most people find drawing faces challenging. This workshop aims to demystify the process of portraiture by breaking it down into simple stages.
Working from photographs we will create drawings using pencil and charcoal. Applying our observational skills and by examining the structure of the face we will learn how to produce true to life portraits. This will involve the positioning and spacing of features, the consideration of proportion and measurement and the simplification of tonal shapes. This full day workshop will run from 10am to 4pm and includes all materials and equipment. Refreshments will be provided and an appetising home made lunch will be served in the barn. Cost £95. |
